Співзасновник та керівник Наукового Містечка Максим Карпаш отримав нову посаду та відтепер буде позаштатним радником голови Івано-Франківської Обласної Державної Адміністрації з питань науки та інновацій.
До його основних повноважень буде належати сприяння в науково-технічних питаннях та інноваційний розвиток Прикарпаття.

Проект розроблений для розвитку та підтримки інноваційної співпраці щодо пом’якшення наслідків зміни клімату в межах транскордонного регіону RO-UA для забезпечення сталого розвитку територій шляхом організації нового освітнього та дослідницького середовища в галузі енергоефективності, що веде до пом’якшення змін клімату до 2021 року.

Загальна мета: Розвивати та підтримувати інноваційну співпрацю щодо пом’якшення змін клімату в транскордонному регіоні RO-UA для забезпечення сталого розвитку територій шляхом організації нового освітнього та дослідницького середовища в галузі енергоефективності, що веде до пом’якшення змін клімату до 2021 року.
У результаті співпраці буде реалізовано ряд цілей, всі з яких направлені на привернення уваги до питань зміни клімату та мають конкретне практичне значення. Основні з них:
1) створення агенства з енергетичного менеджменту (ЕМА) для розробки та впровадження Плану дій зі сталого енергетичного розвитку та клімату (SECAP);
2) встановлення зарядних станцій для електрокарів на сонячних батареях у містах Ботошані та Івано-Франківськ;
3) заснування наукового містечка “Нова Енергія” у місті Ботошані для промоції інноваційної науки серед молоді та навчання людей енергоощадному мисленню.
Реалізація проєкту розпочалась 1 листопада 2020 року.
Проєкт «Партнерство Румунія-Україна для пом’якшення зміни клімату» фінансується Європейським Союзом. Тривалість – 1,5 роки (01.11.2020 – 30.04.2022).
